Morristown's Got Talent
It might be a few weeks away still but we are all getting excited for the Morristown's Got Talent show on Feb. 23 at the Community Theater. More than 75 acts auditions and the field was narrowed down to 16 finalist. This will be the fourth annual show and last year the show raised $30,000 to benefit the Morris Educational Foundation. Parking Garages During The Storm Today
Morristown residents can park for free at numerous parking garages for free today (Jan. 11) after 6 p.m. when the storm is expected to hit. The parking garages are located on Ann Street, Dalton Street, DeHart Street. King Street residents can park at the Vail Parking Deck. When you arrive at a garage gate that is lowered, take a ticket and then move your car when the storm has ended or by 9 a.m. Thursday, whichever is first. Grocery Shop To Help The Hungry
On Wednesday (Jan. 12) Whole Foods Market of Madison will be donate five percent of every customer's total to Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center in Morristown. Colonial Coach bus FREE for Morristown Residents
The Colonial Coach bus is a FREE transportation service provided by the Town of Morristown. Any resident of the Morristown is eligible to utilize this service. This bus operates Monday through Saturday (excluding Public Holidays) between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Bus route #76 operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ( 2010 schedule ) and Bus route #77 operates on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday ( 2010 schedule ). 'MyBus' Service in Morristown
New Jersey Transit has created a system to allow NJ Bus riders updates and information about the schedule of busses right on their phone. This week, NJ Transit unveiled the first 'MyBus' sign in Morris County. Each bus stop has a specific ID number and customers with an SMS text message enabled phone can text 'MyBus' with the ID number posted on the sign to receive schedule notifications and estimated stop times. NJ Transit plans to have all sings posted by the end of next year. You can read more here .
